Grace Randee Erin Moreland, known to those who love her as Goose, was born into a world of love on October 9, 2023.

She knew nothing but that love, and peacefully went to her heavenly home joining her beloved grandfathers Randy Rohrbaugh and Aaron Moreland Sr. on November 19, 2024.

Grace was born with a rare genetic disease, called Severe Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa or Butterfly Syndrome and although she was only with us for a brief time, she brought education and awareness to many.

Her family, community members and especially her health care teams were all taught by Grace. There were many medical professionals who were able to learn from Grace’s life who will now be able to help future butterfly babies. Although we are devastated to lose her, we are comforted in the knowledge that she made an enormous impact on this world, leaving it better than she found it.

Grace was born with a fighting spirit and a full head of dark hair. However, because she liked to keep everyone on their toes, she ended up a beautiful red head who was fun and tenacious even through all her challenges. Grace was inquisitive, loving to watch faces, and the day-to-day happenings of those around her. She loved to be held and cuddled so much so that her mom thought of her as her Velcro baby. She delighted in her parents and siblings who will miss her every second.

Grace is survived by her loving and dedicated parents Katie Rohrbaugh and Aaron Moreland Jr. who cared for Grace; advocating, and making sure her life was full of adventures. She is also survived by her brother and sister Hayes and Hinlee Moreland, and her village. She will also be dearly missed by her favorite furry friends, Shadow and Twin.
