Mildred Carrie (Kline) Tingler Alt, 101, of Purgitsville, W.Va., passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021, in Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.   
Born Aug. 30, 1919, in Circleville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Otterbein Franklin Kline and Carrie Ellen (Nelson) Kline.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Allen Tingler and an infant Hubert Tingler; and seven brothers, Oscar, Sedgie, Hobert and Joseph Kline and infants Austin, Johnny and Jacob Kline.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mildred retired from the Celanese Corporation in Cumberland, Md. and later worked at the Seneca Rocks Visitors Center.  She was a member of Cabins Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are six sons,       William Robert Tingler and Roy Delano Tinger, both of Petersburg, W.Va., Ray Douglas Tingler of Cabins, W.Va., Howard Lee Tingler of Broken Arrow, Okla., Thomas Vincent Tingler of Onego, W.Va. and Louis Wayne Tingler of Beverly, W.Va.; four daughters, Shirley Jean Tingler of Beverly, Carolyn Louise Fulkerson, Linda Maxine Tingler and Peggy Sue Shoemaker, all of Purgitsville, W.Va.; 35 grandchildren, 59 great- grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.     
Funeral services were Friday afternoon at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel, Petersburg, with Colleen Clark officiating.  Interment was in North Fork Cemetery, Riverton, W.Va.
