Wilda Grace Bennett, 93, of Seneca Rocks, died Thursday, Nov. 21, at her home.

Born Oct. 19, 1926, in Cherry Grove, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Elsie (Byrd) Lambert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eli Henry Bennett, on Dec. 3, 1974; one brother and five sisters.

Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker. She was a member of Brushy Run Mennonite Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Francise Arbaugh of Wardensville, Rosalee Kimble of Linden, Va., Elaine Turner of Circleville, Jacqueline Bennett of Seneca Rocks, and the Rev. Rebecca Bennett of Seneca Rocks; two sons, David G. Bennett of Seneca Rocks and Teddy Lee Bennett of Cresaptown, Md.; one sister, Etta Catherine Shifflet of Millersville, Md.; one brother, Forest Ray Lambert of Baker; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be today (Tuesday) at the Basagic Funeral Home chapel, Petersburg, at 11 a.m. with Pastors Tom Shaum, Fred Miller and John Swartz officiating.

Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton. Memorials may be made to any Pendleton County Volunteer Rescue Squad or Seneca Rocks Volunteer Fire Company.
